National Festival - Competition of Children’s Art at the birthplace of Petr Chaikovskiy “Zarni Pilem” (“Golden Sky”) was held in Izhevsk on April, 1st - 4th, 2015

“Zarni Pilem” is an annual festival held by the Izhevsk city Administration, Foundation for the Support and Development of Children and Youth Creativity "Children of Russia", “Dancing Klondike” project (Moscow), “Musical Klondike” newspaper (Moscow) and supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Udmurtia. The number of participants is around 2 000 people every year from the cities of Russia including Moscow, Blagoveshchensk, Kirov, Novosibirsk, Togliatti, Noyabrsk, Tiumen, Kaluga, Kazan, Samara, Nizhniy Novgorod, Rostov on Don, Izhevsk, Zelenodolsk, Irbit and others.

The members of jury included best teachers from higher education institutes in the sphere of culture, composers, art collectives’ leaders, directors and actors.

During the festival leaders of art collectives participated in master classes and workshops with the best teachers from Moscow and Saint-Petersburg.

Festival nominations included:

-Choreographic collectives and solo performances

-Fashion theatres

-Scenic art

-Solo vocals, vocal ensembles

-Instrumental performance

-Folk and academic choirs and ensembles

-Circus art
