Head of the city of Izhevsk Mr. Alexander Ushakov visited the Republic of Belarus as a member of the official delegation of the Udmurt Republic led by the Head of the Republic Mr. Alexander Solovyov
From 25 to 28 of February, 2015 the Head of the city of Izhevsk Mr. Alexander Ushakov visited the Republic of Belarus as a member of the official delegation of the Udmurt Republic led by the Head of the Republic Mr. Alexander Solovyov. The principle goal of the visit was creation of a platform for perspective development of economic collaboration between the Udmurt Republic of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.
Rich program developed for the members of the delegation covered the cities of Minsk and Brest and included visits to the leading companies of processing industry of the Republic of Belarus, pharmaceutical company and holdings producing special equipment (road-building, snow-removal, farming equipment and public electric transport).
The Head of the city of Izhevsk Mr. Ushakov and the Chairman of the executive committee of the city of Brest Mr. Rogachuk made an arrangement on signing the agreement between Izhevsk and Brest on collaboration in the spheres of patriotic upbringing, culture and municipal services.
On Friday, February 27th, the Head of the Udmurt Republic Mr. Alexander Solovyov had officially met the President of the Republic of Belarus Mr. Alexander Lukashenko at the Independence Palace in Minsk. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Belarus Mr. Alexander Surikov, Head of the city of Izhevsk Mr. Alexander Ushakov, deputy of the State Duma of the Federation Council of Russia Mr. Nikolay Musalimov, Director general of the Sarapul factory of electric generators Mr. Sergey Musinov also participated in the meeting.
As a result of the visit of the Udmurt Republic delegation to the Republic of Belarus the Protocol of events on development of cooperation between the Governments of the Republic of Belarus and the Udmurt Republic for 2015-2017 was signed by the Head of the Udmurt Republic Mr. Alexander Solovyov and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Mr. Andrey Kobyakov.
