From the first days since its foundation the theatre has been providing performances for children of Izhevsk and
the Republic as well as of other cities and regions. During this period it created more than 270 performances using more than
two thousand puppets. Many known brands still exist in the repertoire for the children to enjoy for many years. The theatre
has come a long interesting way and brought a series of actors with their individual creative style. The adults are also not
left behind. |

“Zoya’s Flat” by M.Bulgakov, “Oblom Off” by M.Ugarov, “Nobleman, Polina and
a Rooster” based on N.Leskov’s writings and directed by V.Olshansky, and “The Marriage of Figaro”
by P.Beaumarchais are that pieces of art that compose current Theatre’s repertoire. Honoured Artists of Russia and People’s
Artistes of Udmurtia O.Slobodchikova, Y.Malashin, N.Rotov, Honoures Artists of Udmurtia G.Anosova, T.Knyazeva, A.Barov, A.Lobach,
and I.Slobodchikov have become leading maestros of the Theatre. This season the company is led by People’s Artiste of
Udmurtia and Honoured Arts Worker of Udmurtia Vladimir Safonov. The Theatre provides all sorts of drama performances. |

For more than 18 years now the municipal theatre “Molodoi Chelovek” (“Young Man”) has been
providing our city and Republic with not only its special performances, but also carried out more than 50 theatrical popular
events on local and international levels. Such celebrations carried out by the Theatre as City Day, Youth Day (Izhevsk), Petersburg
Christmas Fair (St. Petersburg), XLI Pushkin Celebration of Poetry in the St. Michael Cathedral and many other events and
presentations on various levels were praised and awarded diplomas and grateful letters. Splendid directing, great actor company
and a huge range of costumes and technical means are the immanent features of the “Molodoi Chelovek” Theatre. |
