Main goals of Department activity:

1. Making favorable information environment in Izhevsk directing towards international cooperation.
2. Arranging participation of Izhevsk in the twin-cities movement.
3. Facilitating Izhevsk institutions and organizations international activities in the field of business, culture and education.
4. Involvement of institutions, organizations and citizens of Izhevsk City into participation in the international programs and internships.
5. Providing assistance in receiving local and international funds and governmental grants.
6. Studying and sharing foreign countries experience in the field of municipal economy management and business.
7. Definition of the base for drawing up legislative acts contributing effective international activity development.
8. Contributing foreign investment attraction to Izhevsk.
9. Cooperation with different international organizations
