Izhevsk was founded in XVII century and its foundation was connected with the construction of ironworks. Since that time for more than two centuries the background of the city has been its industry.
By the present time our city has changed into a center of wide international contacts, a capital of scientific, educational conferences and symposiums venue.
We did much in the sphere of creating a system of legal and economical relationships between the City Administration and managing subjects. A very important part of this system is the measures on Izhevsk investment appeal improvement which are connected with the possibility of favorable taxation and all the necessary informational support for everybody who offers interesting projects for the city economic.
We can awake Russian and foreign investors interest in attractive and sometimes even unique projects in the spheres of house-building, development of the entertaining and recreation zones, organization of joint enterprises. For all these Izhevsk has both the legal basis and infrastructure. There is a general construction layout in Izhevsk, we accepted a Strategy of sustainable development, different municipal target programs of branches development function here and all the necessary conditions for effective business development exist in Izhevsk. That is why by now more than 200 joint ventures among which are Siemens, Motorola have already been registered in Izhevsk.
We are open for cooperation with Russian and foreign partners.
